Bluedots event in Malaga, Spain

On May 22 and 23, Málaga will become the epicenter of innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation at the «Digital and Social Blue Economy: Sustainable Transition and Innovation Opportunities» event. This unique gathering is designed to drive the development of the blue economy through digitalization and social innovation, promoting more inclusive, sustainable, and competitive business models.

With a dynamic and practical program, the event will bring together representatives from cooperatives, SMEs, public and private institutions, as well as experts in technology and sustainability, to explore the opportunities that digitalization offers in key blue economy sectors such as fishing, coastal tourism, and marine biotechnology.

The goal is to foster transnational collaboration and the exchange of best practices among key stakeholders across Europe, promote sustainability and social inclusion in the transition to a more digital and environmentally friendly economic model, and facilitate access to tools, knowledge, and collaboration networks that drive the sector’s transformation.
